Contacting the College

Parents/guardians are always welcome at Good Counsel College; however, due to staff commitments, it is wise to book appointments.

The student’s home room teacher is the initial contact person in the college for parents/guardians. The home room teacher can provide information about students and should also be the recipient of information about students. Appointments are to be made with the home room teacher prior to arriving at the College.

Members of the College Leadership Team will make every effort to meet with parents and carers regarding urgent matters; however, their immediate availability cannot be guaranteed. To arrange an appointment, please contact the College Office on 07 4063 5300 between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Providing Information and Updating Records

It is essential for student wellbeing and the safety of the College community that the Principal is advised of any medical conditions, additional needs or other relevant circumstances at the time of enrolment, or as soon as they become known.

Parents and carers are also asked to ensure that their contact and emergency contact details remain current. Accurate information allows the College to communicate regarding emergencies, transport changes, student reports, achievements and other important matters. Details can be updated through the MyCE mobile app or web application.

Urgent Messages

Urgent messages for students may be left with the office staff. Students will be called to the office to collect messages.
