Combined Schools Board
The Combined Parish School Board serves the schools of the Parish – Good Counsel College, Good Counsel Primary School, St Rita’s South Johnstone, St Clare’s Tully, St John’s Silkwood and St Rita’s Primary School.
The purpose of the board is to formulate policy across all areas of the school operations. These policies are written in conjunction with the governing body of Catholic Education Services, Cairns. The members of the board offer a wide variety of insight into the policies and how they will function within the school bodies as well as taking into account the surrounding area of the Innisfail Parish and the people that will need to operate under these policies. The board is made up of volunteers and Principals who give up their time to serve this special area of the parish.
Combined Parish School Board meets once a term.
