CES Relationships Education
Good Counsel College has also embedded the CES Relationships Education Program into the SEL/PD and Health curriculum.
RealTalk & Love Bites programs are offered to students across year levels, as listed below:
Real Talk (Years 7 – 9)
Real Talk Education is an initiative of Real Talk International Ltd. In recent years Real Talk has grown rapidly throughout Australia and New Zealand, becoming the most significant provider of values-based presentations on the human person and human sexuality. Real Talk Education uses a personal approach that educates, equips and empowers students with the skills necessary to navigate these sensitive and difficult areas. Real Talk Education exists to help resource schools with Christian values-based materials that empower young people to live life to the full. The lessons focus on topics that are developmentally appropriate to this age group and are based on the HPE curriculum.
Love Bites (Years 7 – 10)
Love Bites is a Respectful Relationships Education Program for young people. Love Bites is a flexible model with options to use a full day or multi session delivery approach. The program emphasises the importance of a whole-of-school commitment to respectful relationship education.
Love Bites aims to provide young people with a safe environment to examine, discuss and explore respectful relationships. All Love Bites programming takes a strength-based approach and views young people as active participants who are able to make choices for themselves and their relationships when supported with information and opportunity for skill development.
CES also provides resources for faith-based lessons on relationships across Years 7-12.
