VET (Vocational Education & Training)

Vocational Education and Training (VET) enables students to gain qualifications for all types of employment, and specific skills to help them in the workplace. VET provides students with a worthwhile start to their careers.

VET is a nationally recognised system, and all qualifications gained are accepted throughout Australia. We aim to ensure students have the opportunity to gain the necessary skill to gain employment and to open pathways for further studies. In Year 10 students do a compulsory week of work experience, following this we undertake Senior Education Training Plan (SETP) meetings to select subjects and pathways for Year 11 and 12 and beyond.
