Religion is integral to College life and is critical to creating a community that is truly Catholic.
Students study Religion in all year levels. Year 7 to 10 classes operate under guidelines provided by the Diocese of Cairns. During these classes, students are encouraged to take up a lifelong faith journey as inspired followers of Jesus Christ. Year 11 and 12 can choose to do Study of Religion or Religion and Ethics.
Eight minutes are set aside each day as ‘sacred time’ when students reflect on spiritual values and on their life journey at the beginning of Period 5. This is a time of quiet, personal spiritual reflection and prayer, where students can experience quiet time, reflect and give a few minutes of the day to God.
