Our Parent Portal is rapidly developing as an important place for parents to stay in contact with the College. It includes such things as the Term Calendar, newsletters, School Reports, information updates as well as ability to complete camp and excursion forms.
Contacting the Pastoral Leaders
The Pastoral Leader should be the initial contact person in the College for parents/carers. The Pastoral Leader can provide information about students and should also be the recipient of information about students. Appointments are to be made with the Pastoral Leader prior to arriving at the College. Serious matters of concern may be referred to the Deputy Principal or the Principal.
Providing Information and Updating Records
It is essential for the welfare of the students and the protection of the college community that the Principal is informed of any special needs (for example medical) when a student is enrolled or as soon afterwards as the needs become known.
The College should be informed of any changes of contact details, including changes to other emergency contact details. The College has many reasons for contacting parents including emergencies such as floods, transport changes, posting reports and keeping parents informed of achievements.
Urgent messages for students may be left with the office staff. Please keep these messages brief. Students are called to the office to collect messages. Please tell the Office staff if there is a reason why this might not be sufficient or appropriate.
